About Forred Web Design

Hello! I’m Ben Forred, the face behind Forred Web Design, based right here in Sioux Falls, SD. My journey into web design began a few years ago when I started learning to code and build websites for myself and friends. It was a passion project that quickly turned into something more.

In 2020, I launched my first business, and while I still manage some of that work behind the scenes, it was through the challenges of establishing that company’s online presence that Forred Web Design was born. I discovered my true passion for marketing businesses online. I developed my systems to leverage website conversions, and incorporate things like email marketing, social media, and more to boost sales for small business owners.

I’m proud to be part of a supportive community of friends and colleagues who understand the services offered through Forred Web Design. While I handle most of the work myself, I also have talented graphic artists, copywriters, developers, and marketers in my corner, ensuring that you get the best possible outcome.

When I’m not immersed in web design, you can find me enjoying life as a full-time dad to four amazing kids, spending quality time with my wife, jamming out as a musician, or diving deep into my nerdy hobbies – sci-fi  books and movies.

I hold a degree in cell & molecular biology and spent 15 years in the biomedicine industry, but my true passion lies in business. I earned an MBA from the University of South Dakota, and since then I’ve become increasingly interested in business ownership and helping others succeed in business.

These days, I’m keeping busy with my family life, running my businesses, and supporting other entrepreneurs on their journeys. I’m excited to connect with you and explore how we can work together!
