You’ve taken a giant step toward building business online! Together, we will make sure your website has everything it needs to serve you and your customers long into the future – and we’ll be here too. We won’t tolerate any crazy website antics while we’re at the helm.
You may be wondering what our next steps are. The big next step is to schedule a kick off call. We’ll walk through some questions that will help me get going on my first round of design. You’ll get some “homework” to work on, as well. Mostly nailing down design elements and necessary functionalities that we’ll focus on.

What we need to get started
Your Logo
Vector graphic format is the best (SVG) but EPS, or high res JPEG or PNG will usually work just fine.
Images & Videos
Current and/or new images and videos you'd like to use on the new website.
Written Content
Page content and any updated verbiage/information for the site.
Brand/Style Guide
If you don't have one, that's fine. We'll work with you to be consistent with your branding off-site.
So many choices. . .
If you don't have any of that stuff - no worries. We'll work on getting some of it put together with you right now. Have a look at the cards below, and take note of your choices because you'll need to enter them into the form at the bottom of this page.
Font Selection
We’ll need you to have a look at which font pairings you’d like to use. Ideally, we’d only choose 2 fonts and this wonderful website has a ton of pairings that are proven to work well together. Let us know which font pair number you like the best! Choose one "heading" font and one "body" font.
Color Palette
If you don’t already have established brand guidelines with a color palette, logo, etc. Then we’ll need to nail down at least some of that here at this stage. The tool linked below is called Coolors and it’s a pretty slick way to select the color palette that speaks to you. No worries about getting it 100% right – we’re only going to focus on 4 colors max.
Design Ideas
It’s okay if this seems daunting. We don’t need you to decide anything here – just get a sense of what you like and don’t like to see when you go to a website. Click on the button to check out a site full of inspiration – simply jot down some things you like.
The main tools we'll be using
Within the business, we use Notion as a project management tool, task assignments, and tracking communications.
This is a very nimble platform that allows for storing and organizing almost everything about your project. You'll use it via a dedicated client portal that only you and your team will have access to. We'll talk more about it on our upcoming kickoff call.
We'll be setting up a dedicated Google Drive folder for your project, so be on the lookout for an invitation to your project folder! This is how we will share all the images, videos, large text files, and anything else we need to incorporate. It is secure, private, and you’ll be able to access your project folder directly from your Notion client portal. You’re going to love it.
Our custom sites are all built using WordPress as the go-to content management system. You don’t need to worry a whole lot about this, since we’ll be the ones building with it. However, if you’ve expressed a desire to have the ability to make your own updates to the live site, we’ll build a customized dashboard for you before it goes live and we’ll make sure you feel comfortable using it.
